Wow! The wellness value of frequent ,local,plentiful berries and fruits is so powerful in our daily choices! The Agriberry CSA share will again be our popular "6 pack tray " brought to you weekly, with 6 units from the May through September harvest parade of over a dozen types of berries and tree fruits .Have you tasted black or purple plus red raspberries? How about an abundance of blueberries and blackberries? Plus-ripe yellow or white tree juicy peaches, nectarines, apples, in the CSA share as harvest volume allows.

WEEKLY SHARES

Members buy a full season share of the upcoming 2011 harvest; delivered weekly to locations mentioned below for approximately20 weeks, starting in early May thru mid September. Shares arelimited in number and available on a first come, first serve basis, starting with those who have paid a deposit ahead of time, and until
each pickup site has reached its capacity.

A share consists of 6 “units” of berry and/ or fruit products. The size of the “unit” willvary from a pound, a 1/2 pint, a pint, a quart, a peck, or 3-5 fruits.The size of each share may vary based on the yield, age of the
plantings, and harvest conditions; all of which depend on forces of
nature.

FARM PRACTICES

We use as many organic practices as we can, therefore we
consider ourselves a sustainable farm. Agriberry’s owner is
responsible for focusing on… sustaining as healthful a natural
harvest as possible; sustaining a multi-year, farm planting
regardless of compounding weather patterns; sustaining low
impact environmental practices; and lastly, sustaining a viable
livelihood for a farm to family business.

The list is not a guarantee of when or, of all the items you will
receive, but rather is intended to give you an idea about what could
be coming from Spring to Fall; based on ideal weather and harvest
conditions. Periodic updates on the website or on the Agriberry
Facebook page will be provided throughout the season describing
current crop conditions and items harvesting.

 

MISSED SHARES

If you know you will be missing your pickup for a week;
contact csa@agriberry.com and tell us before the
scheduled delivery. Otherwise, your two options are 1) have someone pickup
for you; or 2) simply forego your share for the week. Cash refunds or
share replacements cannot be offered for any missed pickups. The
unclaimed share can be donated to a local organization.
